Additional Uniform Guidance
Coats
Coats worn during the school day should either be the school coat, or should be black or navy and without a logo.
Hair
Haircuts should be smart, avoiding extremes and attention-seeking styles. Hair should be of a natural colour, and eyebrows and eyelashes should also be natural.
Jewellery & Make-up
Students may wear one discreet stud in each earlobe and may use make-up discreetly from Year 9 (this means it should not be noticeable). Sixth formers are allowed nail varnish in neutral colours as long as it is in keeping with a business-like appearance. Otherwise nail varnish, nail art and nail extensions are not allowed (this includes gel nails). Fake tan is not acceptable in school.
Jumpers
Jumpers should be school uniform jumpers only. Students are not allowed to wear hoodies or any other non-uniform clothing as part of their school uniform.
Shoes
Shoes must be smart, clean and polished regularly. Senior school students should wear plain, black, polishable shoes. You should not wear plimsolls, trainers or boots. Excessive heels (over 2”) are not allowed. In snow, you may wear boots for travelling but should bring school shoes with you to change into for the school day.
